for my only fan
back and forth we send our letters yonder,
wishing just to touch each other's faces.
i can feel your breath, yet still i wonder
what exactly in your life my place is.
you complete my thoughts on daily basis
never do i have to seek attention
you demand at all times my heart races.
you know. i don't ever have to mention.
secret to your heart is the retention
of silly little facts we love to gather
acting out our jokes with awkward tensions
knowing in our world no others matter.
i'd apple pick and climb on up my ladder
plucking ripened fruit for you my soul mate
underneath the glowing sky i sat there
whilst humming us to sleep, we take escape.
and even though our world is fairly new,
I dedicate this soul and life to you.

Unfinished Sonnet No. 3
V111
I've planned our lives sans bitter ends
though nothing left do i control.
I've naught to lose so wont pretend.
I want your heart but need your soul
Under the sky i thank the night.
I wish for you and kiss the stars-
convinced you are why poets write
I know i am because you are.
Wish for me on glowing moon
shake it of it's starry dust
at the end of season's bloom
we will share our love and lust
I've planned our lives sans bitter ends
though nothing left do i control.
I've naught to lose so wont pretend.
I want your heart but need your soul
Under the sky i thank the night.

world apart
V11
on nights like these when i am far away,
looking on the world from low earth orbit,
as nothing comes to mind i'd like to say,
tens of thousand things i'd rather forget
thanks to you, my role is never sordid
looking up to me from rocky beaches
when i see your eyes i'm thankful for it
writing instantly a hundred speeches
frozen starry night behind me preaches
continents ahead creep slowly under
learning how to live without you teaches
what it's like for lightning without thunder
counting seconds coming close together
we can survive any kind of weather

don't blame the lemmings
V1
once ring and flame do i thee wed--
a solemn oath, a vowing, read.
sanctified by holy creed
though thin as air is something said.
our garden blooms, despite the weed
that creeps beneath the choking seed
wand'ring tendrils strangle air
confusing further wants and needs.
the world with whom i have to share
now trapped within a thorny snare
no one knows how i'm deprived
of likewise love, respect, and care.
it takes too much to just survive
i strip my shame and feel alive.
off the cliff he made, i dive
off the cliff he made, i dive.
once ring and flame do i thee wed--

until the universe can fit inside my heart
V
for Federico Garcia Lorca
Keeping up in moon-lit effervescence,
champagne gliding up my body splendor,
our love making bioluminescence;
every word is poetry of candor.
Floating flesh sky-blue, surrealist render!
Tangled limbs will drown a lovers quarrel
wrestle from the depths a lavish spender
kissing neck (with teeth) ask looser morals--
Strip to flesh! Enjoy my body floral!
Thump my chest to hear my true resonance:
counterpoint beneath our stars was choral,
beneath my pen you took up residence.
We'll memorize our lives through canvased art

shake off those winter woes
1V
It's almost March and I can't wait for Spring!
Dusted off my jacket cold and fading,
hung it on the hook to welcome morning.
Dawn, my shorts and button shirt were waiting,
Sunrise flashing diamonds over acres.
Arms akimbo, patiently debating:
letting kitty sleep or should I wake her.
Let it be the sun that she'll be hating.
Just like magic dull and listless meadows
jump alive as soon as solar mating
burns the surface deep, as sleepy head knows
waking at my side (but she's placating).
Watching Spring time break is quite amazing
life can once again begin its grazing

winter-sleep
111
Only when we go up north does snowfall
hang like pots and pans in mid-air flurry.
Cold fronts hit our cheeks like sky-high stone walls
made to keep out Mongols in a hurry.
Though the snow piles high, we shouldn't worry.
Igloo tunnels over roads we're mapping
keep the layer cake of ice we're buried
underneath from heating up and snapping.
When I look at you I feel like wrapping
up in years of memories we've gathered.
Quilts of snowfall coat us while we're napping
keeping us from harm and close together.
When, from dormant winter-sleep, we're driven,
Spring and Summer welfare will be given.
